Exedy clutch kits and flywheels carry the standard Exedy manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for unused, properly installed components. Returns on unused, uninstalled clutches and flywheels in original packaging are accepted within 30 days. Once a clutch has been installed or a flywheel has been mated to a crank, it is no longer returnable — this is standard across the clutch industry, since friction surfaces and contact patterns alter on first use. Defective products are handled through Exedy USA's warranty program, and Kami Speed processes RMA claims on your behalf.
Exedy Stage 1 Organic is a direct OEM-replacement upgrade — stock pedal feel, slightly increased holding capacity, full street manners. Good for bolt-on builds running near factory power. Stage 2 Sports uses a more aggressive friction material (cerametallic or sport disc) with stiffer pressure plate — handles meaningful power increases (turbo upgrades, supporting mods) with somewhat firmer pedal effort and slightly less smooth engagement than Stage 1, but still streetable. Hyper Single is Exedy's flagship single-disc performance clutch — significantly higher clamp load, sprung hub for shock dampening, and far higher torque capacity. Hyper Single is the right call for built engines, big turbo setups, and dedicated street/strip cars. For anything beyond Hyper Single's capacity, Exedy's twin-plate Hyper Twin handles 600+ horsepower applications.
